HDI cultivates a strong community year-round through our online community site, HDI Connect, and regionally through local chapters. Add in regular readers of our respected SupportWorld newsletter, and SupportWorld Live becomes a powerful opportunity for us to come together as one.
Conference Connectors
Whether you’re a veteran attendee or first-timer, you’ll be welcomed as family, and our Conference Connector volunteers help ensure everyone feels the love! Made up of active community members, this group makes it their business to make all attendees feel welcome, from the opening session to the final goodbyes.
Awards Program
In addition to supporting each other, we celebrate each other’s achievements through our Awards program. This year, the Awards Ceremony takes place Thursday afternoon and features both emcee Kirk Weisler and special appearances by the Blue Man Group.
Evals4Education
We also extend our support to the Las Vegas community through our Evals4Education initiative, and every attendee plays a part. For every completed session or conference evaluation, HDI will donate $1 to Duane D. Keller Middle School, a local Title 1 school.
